Tonight on Warbird Radio LIVE!, with the continuing focus on aviation practices for Safety Month, Matt Jolley will interview the legendary Mustang pilot Lee Lauderback; founder of the high performance warbird flight training school Stallion 51. Tune in this Tuesday evening (3/17/15) at 8pm EASTERN and hear some practical advice for preparing for the upcoming flying season.

Currently, Lauderback is chief instructor and demonstration pilot in the P-51 Mustang. In addition, he is also one of the pilots in the USAF Air Force Heritage Flight Program. He has also been a civilian instructor for the US Navy Test Pilot School in Patuxent River, MD where test pilot students and instructors fly the Mustang.

Amassing in excess of 20,000 flight hours in all types of aircraft and helicopters, including well over 8,700 hours in Mustangs, Lee Lauderback has also had the chance to fly the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Viper, and F/A-18 Hornet. Lauderback has over 2,000 hours in sailplanes and has competed in many soaring contests and has held several sailplane records.
