The producers of the Emmy Award winning PBS hits Beyond The Powder and Red Tail Reborn now have a new historical aviation series available online to viewers in the U.S.; The Restorers – Season 1. The documentary series is now available through the Amazon Prime streaming service.

The Restorers – Season 1 is the original aviation series that started it all.

This exciting, award-winning series examines warbird and vintage aircraft restorers and the planes they resurrect from the graves of history. Each one hour episode follows a theme and contains several related stories within. The first season’s five episodes are titled: Living History, Aircraft Recovery, The Aviatrix, Aviation Destinations, and They Were All Volunteers.

Scenes depicted in the episodes include the following…

Jim Lauria of the Commemorative Air Force – Minnesota Wing states, “Each of these aircraft have a soul of their own. And when it stops flying it’s just like we stop living. We wanna be able to keep flying them.”

The Restorers – Season 1 is available to Amazon Prime Video subscribers.

For those outside the USA, The Restorers – Season 1 is being distributed by Principal Media, both in broadcast and VOD arenas.
