Plans are underway at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force for an event to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. This event will include World War II living history re-enactors, guest speakers and more. Please note the start time is tentative. Check our website closer to the date for additional details. D-Day, also known as the Battle of Normandy, occurred on June 6, 1944. It began the Allied invasion of Europe, which liberated millions from the Nazis and ultimately ended the war in Europe.
