wpsynd19746Parc Aeronautic of Catalunya (PAC) of Barcelona, Spain has acquired an over 100,000 square foot lot at the Barcelona-Sabadell Airport, located just off the airport’s runway 13 where they will soon be breaking ground for their new 27,000 square foot hanger and museum which will house their sizable collection.

The PAC’s eclectic fleet ranges from a pair of airworthy CASA 1.131s (which were a Spanish-built version of the Bücker Jungmann) to a North American T-6 Texan, and Dornier Do 27. Their static display planes include an ex-Spanish Air Force Lockheed T-33, a McDonnell F-4C Phantom, and a Douglas C-47.

The PAC is a non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting the use and preservation of vintage aircraft. During 2013 they will stage a flying event on the third Sunday of every month at Barcelona-Sabadell Airport.
