Texas Flying Legends to Bring 11 Warbirds to AirVenture 2013

EAA has confirmed that the Texas Flying Legends Museum will field a fleet of 11 warbird aircraft at EAA AirVenture 2013 which is being held July 27th through August 4th in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

All of the planes will be flown to the venue and several will participate in the daily air shows while others will be featured in “Warbirds in Review” presentations and other venues. Each of the planes will be paired with veterans who flew in them, providing visitors with first-hand accounts of the operation and history of the historic craft.

Based at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas, the Texas Flying Legends Museum believes in campaigning their aircraft across the country, providing the public with the dynamic experience of warbirds in flight, honoring the heroes that flew them and giving inspiration to the youth of today.
