Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum to Open Third Building

The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum will be holding the grand opening for their latest museum building on November 10th, between 10am and 12pm. This new state of the art facility will take the combined museum space from 55,000 sq.ft. to more than 90,000 sq.ft. and provide room for more than 20 additional artifacts previously not on display. The museum has not presently stated which new exhibits these will include, although some will certainly be vintage military vehicles. They also hinted that at least one is a new aircraft as well, and will be revealing some of the new items gradually on their Facebook page in the weeks to come.

The current schedule of events for the grand opening on November 10th is as below…
9:00 am: FHCAM Member Early Access
10:00 am: Event Begins
10:00am – 12:00 pm: Raffle Ticket given to each admission, Kids Activities, Food Truck Service, Veteran Meet and Greet, Docent lead tours of new Artifacts, Photo Booth
11:00 am: Welcome/New Plane Unveiled
11:10 am: Tank Artwork
11:30 am: Raffle Winner Selected/Winners Ride in FHCAM Artifact
12:00 pm: Event Ends
5:00 pm: Museum Closes

Alongside the opening of a third building, guests will be able to experience the museum as they never have before by getting up close to the artifacts. By opening day on November 10th, we will remove the barriers from around the vehicles throughout the museum to give you an up close and personal look inside. Don’t forget to spend some time looking around our newly remodeled gift store. Each purchase you make keeps this beautiful museum operating.
 
To celebrate Veteran’s Day weekend, we invite all of our active military and veterans into the museum free of charge. We thank each of you for your service.
 
Over the past five years the museum has grown into a place not only aviation and armor enthusiasts frequent, but a place where families can come to learn about history in a fun and interactive way. Now, with the addition of this incredible new building, we hope you are dazzled by all of the treasures that await you!
