The 24th National Warbird Operator Conference (NWOC) is scheduled to take place over February 21 – 24, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona. This year’s conference will be presented by Ladd Gardner Aviation Insurance.

Founded in 1993, the annual NWOC event brings together warbird owners, operators, and museum directors to address issues affecting warbirds and to discuss common goals related to the ever-changing economics, regulation and operation of ex-military aircraft.

NWOC focuses on the exchange of ideas and information concerning the safe operation and restoration of warbird aircraft. This unique educational conference offers programs to enhance pilot skill and knowledge, expand knowledge for aircraft maintenance technicians and restorers, develop awareness of medical and insurance facts, and address aircraft-specific topics to ensure continued safe flight for these unique, historic aircraft. NWOC is the perfect opportunity to network with the movers and shakers of the warbird industry.

The conference features educational sessions, special guest speakers, social activities, a trade show area, and much more. The speakers scheduled for this year’s conference will be USAF Major General Tommy Williams, Col. Richard H. Graham, and Rob Mitchell. Group tours will explore the Pima Air & Space Museum and facilities at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base. The 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), often called The Boneyard, is a United States Air Force aircraft and missile storage and maintenance facility in Tucson, Arizona, located on Davis–Monthan Air Force Base.

Early registration is now open for NWOC 2019 and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
