This worker at the Vultee-Nashville factory is shown making final adjustments in the wheel well built into the underwing of the A-31, before the installation of the landing gear and the mating of wing to fuselage in one of the numerous assembly operations required for the mass production of  Vultee “Vengeance” dive bombers.
