“Higgins Boats,” or technically LCVPs, were the means of transportation as the Allies crossed the English Channel and began the fight for Europe in WWII. Enter and explore the FHCAM’s “Higgin’s Boat” while hearing the history of D-Day from Erik Flint, Military Historian and Director of the Lewis Army Museum. Experience what is was like to be one of the 36 soldiers that the LCVP could hold as it sailed towards the history books.
Doors Open: 6:00 PM for FHCAM Members / 6:30 PM for the General Public
