Guardians at Sunrise

A New Jersey Air National Guard F-84F Thunderstreak static display aircraft sits on the grounds of the 108th Wing at sunrise on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Jan. 11, 2016. The 108th Wing flew the Thunderstreak from 1958 to 1962.

A New Jersey Air National Guard F-105B Thunderchief static display aircraft sits on the grounds of the 108th Wing at sunrise on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Jan. 11, 2016. The 108th Wing flew the Thunderchief from 1964 to 1981. This particular aircraft was the first production F-105B built by Republic Aviation in 1957.

  1. I was a crew chief on F 105,F4s AND KC135 aircraft in the 108th NJANG. enjoyed working these aircraft.I retired as a Tsgt.
