Itineris and RAF Museum Scoop two international Website awards

PRESS RELEASE – It was announced today that Itineris Ltd had achieved two Outstanding Achievement accreditation in this year’s Interactive Media Awards™ for its work on the Royal Air Force Museum Website.The website won awards in both the highly competitive ‘Travel/Tourism’ and ‘Museum’ categories in which consisted of over 250 entries.Itineris Ltd is a multi-award winning digital, creative and technical agency with offices in the center of London and Suffolk.Each application was scored on five separate criteria (0-100) consisting of Design, Content, Feature Functionality, Usability and Standards Compliance. The website was recognized for surpassing the standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work.

 The judging panel, consisting of pioneering industry leading organisation such as Microsoft, Verizon, New York Times and Ogilvy & Mather, scored the site 476/500 which was enough to scoop the awards.Paul Hudson – Head of Marketing at RAF Museum, said “The website is our primary marketing tool for both museum sites, ensuring we deliver a faultless user experience combined with valuable, relevant content is paramount in driving physical visitors to our exhibits”

 The award co-insides with recent unveiling of the new ‘First World War in the Air’ exhibition at the London site which was officially opened by HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.
